Paul, Stéphane, and Matthieu have been constantly exposed to "digital eye strain" (impact on sleep, fatigue, discomfort, consequences on well-being) for over 10 years.

The issue
Back then, they searched for a solution and quickly came across some horrors...
Unfortunately, in those dark times, equipping oneself with computer glasses meant giving up any social life by choosing to become a low-cost Bono lookalike.
The existing glasses were expensive, not certified, far from modern, with ineffective filtration and a style that could scare goats.
One beautiful morning in 2016, the 3 friends took matters into their own hands.
The team's goal
To design affordable and stylish glasses that promote the well-being of gamers and digital professionals while also enhancing their performance.

The birth of the brand
With Matthieu's expertise in optical technologies, they decided to create a brand that was involved, with an authentic connection to its customers, a fully remote team, and a functioning that went against the grain of traditional companies.
The marriage of a passion for gaming, optics, and entrepreneurship gave birth to Horus X.

The very first glasses
The small team worked for months on innovative technologies and brand new designs.
They struggled and hit many walls, but they eventually created a first version of Horus X glasses at the end of 2017 that they were satisfied with...😬
The success was immediate, confirming to the three friends that they were not alone in facing this problem!
Evolution
Since then, the products have evolved...
With investments in R&D, support from innovation partners like BPI France, development of patented technologies and new models.
Now, Horus X is one of the most high-performing leaders in eye protection in the galaxy 😍! (conquest of the universe planned for 2030 🚀)
